Metin Sancak graduated from the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Yeditepe University. He began his career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a global firm providing audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services in over 140 countries.

From 2006 to 2010, he served as Deputy General Manager at Folkart, and since 2010, he has been continuing his role as General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors at the same company. Metin Sancak is a Board Member of Saya Holding.

In 2005, he completed the Executive Education Program and the New Generation Leaders Program, a joint initiative by Sabancı University and INSEAD.

Mr. Sancak is actively involved in civil society organizations. He served as a Board Member of the Izmir Quality Association (KalDer) between 2008 and 2012, and has been a Board Member of the Izmir Association of Industrialists and Businessmen (İZSİAD) since 2013.

He is married and has two children.
